Project Description

The practice was involved in the latter stages of the refurbishment and conversion of derelict farm outbuildings to form 3No holiday units at North Drumachro set in an open and undulating landscape.
As part of design changes to meet funding requirements the scheme was modified at construction stage with rubble stone walling retained and lime rendered in parts together with small areas of timber cladding where existing unstable walls were removed. The roof is finished with vivid red metal roof sheeting, typical of many rural farm buildings within an island landscape.
